Functional Movement Screening
Movement screening and assessment provide a patient's baseline of mobility. It identifies patterns we need to protect them from, ones we need to correct, and ones that we can develop. A foundational principle is to first move well, then move often. Improving movement quality before increasing quantity is important for maintaining musculoskeletal health. I love it so much I even teach it!
